Low-Voltage Electrical Installations

Building power cabling, distribution panels and lighting, defined by the project drawings, specifications and agreed electrical package.

A low-voltage work package covers power distribution within a building and the loads identified in its drawings. We review cabling, routes, distribution boards, lighting and earthing within the requested scope, clarifying supply, installation and coordination responsibilities.

Building electrical scope

  • Conduits, cable routes, power and lighting wiring.
  • Main and sub-distribution panel installation and specified equipment.
  • Earthing networks and final installations within the contract.

Low voltage and low current are distinct

  • Power distribution is a different package from CCTV, SMATV and related networks.
  • Low-current systems and fire alarm scope must be identified separately in drawings and BOQ.
  • A service title does not establish a voltage rating, current capacity or approval; project requirements are reviewed individually.

Documents for scope review

  • Electrical drawings, available single-line diagrams and panel specifications.
  • Available load schedules, quantities and supply/installation boundaries.
  • Location, work stages and the required quotation deadline.

Technical ratings, inspection and handover requirements are defined by the project documents and contract. No undocumented technical certification is asserted.
